I don't think that I have ever had such a hard time researching a topic. Believe it or not, it is very hard to find any half decent black and white designs online. I have listed a couple of dozen black and white designs. Please send in designs that you like as well.

Must say that even in the modern trends of full color design, black and white did not lost its atractivity and shine.

beautiful designs. I'd love to create a black and white design for a website, but I never have the courage!
Black and white printing is the most cost effective. I'd say opt for high contrast, reversed type or strategic white space to get the point accross. If you've decided to use raster images, then it's ultra important to make sure you've got the tones right in Photoshop. Check out some samples and design tips at http://www.rowdygroup.com
